The Stallion

Bobby came to us from Delaware Park. He had been a race horse who was being run in the wrong dimension – on the dirt over distances less than 7 furlongs. His pedigree predestined him for success (and wins) over long distances and on the grass, so we acquired him with the goal of producing sport horses with stamina, good walks and balanced canters.

At the tender age of 4 years, Bobby was a compact and handsome package standing just 15.2 hands. He was so well mannered that he could ship in the trailer with mares and knew that it was ‘quiet time’. By the age of 8, he had matured both as a riding horse and stood well over 17.1 hands. His temperament was impeccable and he was progressing well up the FEI levels in his training.

Bobby competed through Training Level in eventing as well as having some success in the hunter and jumper arenas with Emily in the irons.

The Sire

All of Bobby’s offspring inherited his beautiful face – wide spaced eyes, sculpted features and lovely balanced canter. We utilized him to improve the jump in the canter on our Abundance daughters and refine their heads. He was also quite prepotent for good jumping technique and an excellent walk. We have had excellent success with taking his daughters and breeding them back to Warmblood stallions with Wyatt WF, Wyncote WF, Waverleigh WF, Ruben WF, Dolce Elise WF, Don William WF, Wilson WF, Waldina WF, Westerleigh WF, Wei WF, Wolfgang WF and Dream Girl WF being the best representatives of our program going into future competition and breeding careers.
