The Stallion
Again and Again was a breeder’s dream come true – a phenomenal riding stallion who passed his very best qualities along to his offspring. He was an extremely affectionate stallion who was Anne’s horse from the time he was born. His athleticism needs little explanation as he combined the best of both his sire and dam. His full brother Ruxton was already a sensation by the time “Chip” was born. Their brother Rushton was also gaining high praise as a Amateur Hunter. Another full brother, Jackie Blue, had sold into a prestigious jumper home and went on to jump at the 1984 L.A. Olympics for the Canadian Team.
As a performance horse, Again and Again was sensational. His powerful gaits were balanced and supple. Anne found that the hardest movements were very easy for this intelligent stallion to master; he was a genius when it came to mastering the FEI movements. Again and Again had good success in the competition arena over fences, out eventing and was a delight to fox hunt also.
Again and Again proved over time to produce outstanding athletes with a variety of mares. Several of his sons had excellent sports careers with Alacazam being a highlight with an international medal winning test at the 1994 NAYRC. Artesian WF competed through Intermediare I and trained to Grand Prix under World Cup rider Dianna Rankin. A stallion son (out of a TB mare competed through Open Intermediate (long format) in the 80’s and 90’s.
While those achievements are outstanding for a US bred stallion, Again and Again has truly left his mark with his daughters ability to produce outstanding offspring. A daughter was bred to VIP in the mid-80s and that foal went on to win the International Jumping Futurity. Abracadabra WF (Alacazam’s full sister) had good success in the dressage arena and has gone on to be an outstanding producer, with son Wizard WF being named Top Foal in North America in 2006 and then being licensed for breeding in 2008. Her 2009 colt Drummond WF by Dressage Royal was also declared a stallion prospect at his foal inspection. As riding horses, his offspring are well known for their carrying power, light mouths and large gaits, and that is carrying over into the future generations. Achtung Again WF produced two outstanding daughters in Waterlily WF (2006) and Daylily WF (2007). While Amelia WF has produced one of our highest scoring foals with Aloysius WF (2009), it is safe to say that Again and Again is a very successful broodmare producer and his offspring should not be overlooked by the talent riders of the future.
A limited supply of his frozen semen is available for purchase.

His Heritage
Again and Again’s sire Abundance needs little introduction as he was such a resounding success here in the United States, both as a performance horse in all disciplines and as a sire. Here are some of Chip’s other ancestors:
