The Mare
Caroline was another tall, lanky mare from the Mid West. She was heavily linebred to Sir Gallahad III. Her offspring and their descendants are very athletic horses, with smooth gaits and a diligent nature.
Her cooperative nature was unmatched during her time here at Watermark Farm. She was the sweetest, most attentive horse, particularly around Ellie & Emily. Perhaps they were an extension of her brood?
Her genetics continue onward in our program through breeding her daughter Aurora to South Amerian Way. Those breedings produced Smart WF (1995), Southern Leigh WF (1997) and Sophia (1999-2000). Southern Leigh has continued her granddam’s tradition of producing highly elastic and balanced young horses.

In total, Caroline had a total of 4 foals for Watermark Farm. Her two sons were sold into loving homes and we enjoyed hearing about their adventures for many years.
