Aloysius WF is a fine young colt with a charming personality and excellent movement. His conformation was evaluated quite positively at his foal inspection. All of these qualities earned him the title of Site Reserve Champion and a Premier Award with an overall score of 8.8.

Careful planning has gone into the breeding of this colt. His parents’ full siblings (Atreo WF and Artesian WF) are both competing at the FEI level and are preparing for their Grand Prix debuts. As those two horses are third generation homebreds, we sought to strengthen their talents by blending the successful performance lines together.

It has been said by several international competitors “Better the devil you know” when it comes to horse training. With personal knowledge of how Aloysius’ ancestors ride for generations, we are quite excited for him to mature and begin his undersaddle training.

We used the name Aloysius in memory of Al Steiert. Al was importer/owner/trainer of the Hanoverian stallion Abundance who is a major foundation of our breeding program.

Louie was easy to start and a joy to train daily. We are proud to say he has sold to a lovely family with a talented junior rider!! Good luck and keep us updated EC!!
