Welcome to Watermark Farm

Greetings to everyone!

In 2010, we will be hosting two AWR/NASPR Inspections. Please be aware that expediting fees will apply for any applications not received 6 weeks prior to the inspection date (5/11 & 8/17).

In order to avoid extra fees and penalties, please contact the AWR/NASPR Office (amerwarmblood@aol.com) or (406) 734-5499 to be sure that your paperwork is complete.

As in the past, we will have a veterinarian on call and the farrier will have his forge for branding in the afternoon.

There will be a light breakfast & full lunch buffet served at approximately 11:30 AM courtesy of Watermark Farm.

The restroom is the green house and we will have ample parking in the front field.

For our October 2010 inspection, we are pleased to announce Bill Alphin will be available with his fine photographic skills. Please be sure to make arrangements directly with him if you are interested in having him take pictures of your horse or pony. When you are on his website, please click on the Equestrian Link and you will find the Sign Up Form. A $20 Sitting Fee is due upon arrival..
If you have any questions feel free to call or email Bill directly (443) 553-3036.

If there is enough demand, the most excellent professional handler, Klaus Schengber is available to help show your horse or pony off to its best advantage. There is a minimum number of required equines, so we need to know ASAP (at least 2 weeks prior)if you would like his services.

Due to the fact many attendees have young foals, Health Certificates, vaccination records and negative Coggins Tests (dated within 1 calendar year) must be on file with Watermark Farm 1 week prior to the inspection. The Site Hosting Fee is paid several months in advance by Watermark Farm and that amount is divided equally among the participants.

The Site Fee must be paid by attendees in advance and is non-refundable.

A Waiver is available for download and can be mailed with your Site Fee.
Additional copies will be in the Office for you to fill out when you arrive.

Stabling will be limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Stabling costs include the following: Straw or Pine Shavings (your choice). Please bring your own feed, hay, buckets and feed tub.

If you have any questions on the inspection process, please do not hesitate to ask! We do have quite a bit of video footage on our
You Tube Channel that shows different sections of various aged horses on their big day.

Please complete the Waiver and the Horse/Pony Information Card above and send those with a copy of your equine's Coggins in as soon as possible along with your Site Fee.

Your Health Paper can be brought with your horse/pony to the inspection. No horse/pony will be allowed on the property without a Coggins and Health Certificate. Foals less than 6 months of age are covered with their dam's Coggins Test.

If you have bred to an EVA positive stallion or vaccinated your mare for EVA within 28 days of the Inspection date, please let us know prior to attending this inspection as it is a health risk to the other horses.

The tentative schedule is posted to the right --->

If your mare or stallion is doing a performance test, please let us know what your needs are (jumping, dressage or driving) so that the facility can be properly prepared.

If you have any additional questions or problems, please just let us know and we will do our best to accomodate your needs.

If you see an error or omission in the time schedule, please contact Ellie immediately. Also, if your mare and foal are not weaned, they will need to be presented at the same time, so an scheduling adjustment needs to posted.

Ponies are marked with a *. Stallions are in bold.

The lunch buffet will be available after 11:30 AM. Coffee and light breakfast items will be available at the start of the day in the small green house. If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know so that we can be sure to provide an ample selection.

We still need stall reservation confirmations from several of you. Please let Ellie or Anne know what type of bedding and your approximate arrival time ASAP.

If you would like to arrange a tour of Watermark Farm and our horses, please make arrangements with Anne in advance.
