Whodini WF (Waldaire x Abracadabra WF by Again and Again) ’Dini is a vibrant chestnut gelding with 3 socks, a star, snip and a stripe. He is easy to work around and very friendly when meeting new people in his life. He possesses one of the most powerful trots on the entire farm, so a rider who likes the very best should look no further. Whodini should mature to 16.1 hands. Whodini’s movement is excellent and balanced in all gaits. His powerful engagment and freedom in the shoulder is very exciting to look forward to riding in a matter of months. At his foal inspection he was awarded a First Premium. His outgoing personality and excellent movement make him a farm favorite. His dam Abracadabra WF was a successful 4th Level show horse prior to her breeding career. Her full brother is an international Silver Medalist. Abracadabra’s other offspring include: Wakanda WF (2005), Wizard WF (2006), Dreamcatcher WF (2008) and Drummond WF (2009). Of the three Waldaire/Abracadabra offspring - this is the fanciest in terms of movement with the greatest amount of scope, engagement and suspension. Abracadabra's sire Again and Again has proven to produce the talent for the upper echelon of the competitive dressage world and this colt is a true to type descendant. Wizard WF is a licensed stallion and Whodini’s full brother. Half brothers Dreamcatcher & Drummond are also being raised as stallion prospects. Wizard, Wakanda and Dreamcatcher were all Site Champions of their respective foal inspections. Whodini has been undersaddle for several months now and is a forward horse with a big trot, balanced canter and relaxed walk. He has excellent form over fences and is bold over banks, ditches, water, portables...you name it - he's jumping it! Whodini is the first one to come to the gate when its's time to come in - he adores people and the more attention the better!! Undersaddle he is working on the start of the lateral work (leg yields, shoulder in, turn on the haunches, turn on the forehand) and his flying changes are easy, clean and uphill. He just needs a rider who is comfortable with big movement, a forward way of going and a talented jumper. For the 2012 competition season, he will be aiming towards the FEI Five Year Olds tests and competing on a regular basis for mileage. Don William WF (Dressage Royal x Savannah WF by South American Way/Able Spirit WF) Liam is a dark chestnut gelding who will be quite tall when matures. He has a lovely star and stripe on his beautiful face and it offsets his dark coat beautifully. He should mature to at least 17.2 hands, so he is recommended for those who like a taller horse. In spite of his larger size, Liam is one of the most gentle and sweet horses we have raised. He is truly a gentle giant. Of course, it is wonderful to have a large horse with gaits that are well suited to international competition. His large, soft eyes complete the picture transforming this large equine into the most affectionate and friendly horse on the farm. At his foal inspection, Liam received a First Premium. His dam had a successful in hand career and immediately joined our broodmare herd as a four year old. Her dam was extremely successful throughout her entire career and continues to produce excellent foals. Her full brother Showtime WF has gone on to have a successful show record in the A Hunters in the mid-Atlantic region for his new owner. Savannah’s other offspring include Wyatt WF (2004), Windsor WF(2006), Dream Girl WF (2008), and Dolce Elise WF (2009). Liam is currently (January 2011) in Aiken, SC at Red Oak Farm and can be viewed by appointment. He is a straight forward horse to ride and a pleasure to work around. His gaits are large and well balanced with good awareness of where all 4 feet are at all times. He hacks well alone or with company and is gaining loads of experience while away from home. Reports are coming back that his gaits are improving more and more each day with added strength over his back - he already had loads of suspension. In May 2011, Liam has begun showing in the USEF Four Year Old Test with very good results. His first show was at Blue Waters Farm (MD) and he received an overall score of 7.5 with very good comments about his future as a dressage horse. He is a pleasant and easy horse to show and should continue to move up the training scale with a dedicated program. At his second show, his walk received a 9, the trot an 8.5, submission was an 8.3...so plenty of improvement in just 3 weeks of additional training. He is the consummate show horse - struts down the centerline and knows it is time to show off! In August 2011, Liam met the international trainer and rider Catherine Haddad Staller. In their brief interaction, he received high praise and the much anticipated words of encouragement that are music to a breeder/rider/trainer's ears - "international top quality!" So with those auspicious accolades in mind, he will be targeting towards advancing his upper level work as quickly as is prudent given his size! Wall Street WF (Waldaire x Wallstreet Rose WF by Wallstreet Kid) Hansel is a true black gelding with a tasteful star, hind socks and a small coronet up front. He is an outgoing personality to work around, while maintaining a respectful distance. He is the first one to come to the gate to see what is going on around the farm and is a bold explorer of new spaces. Hansel should mature to 16.3 hands. Hansel has very good movement and balanced gaits. He seems to have inherited his dam’s unflappable nature, so he would be quite suitable for an Adult Amateur rider. That is not to say that his movement is unsuitable for a professional – just that he gets a special recommendation for riders who are looking for a grounded, sensible type of horse. At his foal inspection Hansel was awarded a First Premium. His dam Wallstreet Rose was schooling Second Level and going Novice prior to joining our broodmare herd. She has the typcial Warkant trot blended with her dam’s balanced canter and extravagant walk. Gretta is a calm mare with a strong personality and her balance temper shines through in all her foals. Hansel has been undersaddle for about a year. He is a smart horse - a real thinker with big gaits, forward way of going and a sweet personality. Hansel is quite brave and loves to go out as a solo ride and into new situations - very brave and happy to go exploring. He would best suited to a rider who is confident in the open...most likely an event rider with experience bringing along talented young horses. His talent over fences is well above average with good scope and power. Special consideration will be given to a show home. Video Links

Wilona WF (Waldaire x As You Wish WF by Adamant/Volturno) Lona is a true black daughter of Waldaire out of current Eventing mare As You Wish WF, who has recently moved up to Training Level in her first year of competition. Lona has inherited many of the qualities of both sire and dam – her even temper, steady rhythm and good conformation. She is a very friendly and inquisitive youngster who would always like to be the first one to be caught and fussed over. At her foal inspection, Wilona received a First Premium. Her dam As You Wish WF is enjoying great success out in the eventing world and consistently finishes with only her dressage score as she moves up the levels. Her maternal granddam Volanté also thrived in the eventing realm of competition, diligently packing both Emily & Ellie around at the Preliminary level with good results. Emily also competed her through PSG in dressage. Adamant was the family go-to mount for foxhunting with a very successful dressage career through Intermediare I much like his sire, the imported Hanoverian Abundance. During his breeding career Adamant was a consistent producer of upper level eventers. This granddaughter should follow in her ancestors hoof prints with little difficulty. Wilona has earned high praise from our experienced young horse starter for her grounded nature and pleasant movement. She is a very sensible young horse with a calm outlook on the world around her. Wilona enjoys going cross country and is a pleasure to work with on a daily basis with no vices. Wilona participated in our February jumping clinic with Ryan Wood. She continues to impress us with her steady nature, exceptionally good movement and willingness to work. As her training has advanced - it is worth noting that she would be extremely competitive in the hunter ring. Her gaits cover ground and are very smooth as is her over fences technique - small junior hunter, anyone? Wilona's changes are clean and easy and her lateral work is beginning to advance nicely as well. Video Links

Wylie WF (Waldaire x Amelia WF by Again and Again) Wylie is a sweet filly well suited to an Adult Amateur rider with goals that might include eventing venues or dressage arenas. She enjoys having time one on one with a person and is a calm, obedient young mare. Her adult coat has come through as a very dark chestnut which is complimented nicely by her flaxen mane, distinctive star & stripe and she does have a single low hind sock with ermine spots – very conservative, yet classy in appearance. Her gaits are pleasing to the eye and she has good engagement from the hindquarters. Wylie is just beginning her undersaddle training with a very auspicious start. After 30 days of training, she is confidently walking, trotting and cantering with a rider and beginning her adventures out on the trail. As with the other Waldaire offspring, Wylie enjoys working and is very business like in her outlook. She should mature to 16.0-1 hands. After returning home from being started, Wylie has quickly advanced in her undersaddle schooling. She is confident, well balanced and extremely calm in her work. Like the other Waldaire/Again and Again offspring, she has an excellent saddle position, and comfortable gaits with a strong awareness of where all four feet are located in relation to cavaletti and cross rails. Wylie is extremely well balanced, confidently moving forward and a pure pleasure to ride each and every day. She does well alone or with company and has begun jumping small courses with a rider. Wylie’s gaits are ground covering and forward without rushing or loss of rhythm. She gives the rider an extremely smooth ride down to a fence and is extremely well balanced in the approach, take off and landing. Wylie is very talented and would prefer to belong to a rider where she is the sole focus of their attentions. Wylie particpated in the February jumping clinic with Ryan Wood and earned high praise for her adjustability, rhythm and super balance. She has a natural instinct for her flying changes already, so this is an ideal horse for someone looking forward to showing in the next few weeks. Wylie is a super horse for the rider who wishes a high quality all around horse with plenty of talent. She is an easy horse to work around (not an Alpha) and tries very hard to please her rider each day. She would do best in a situation where she is the highlight of her person's day vs. being one of many to get worked as part of a list. Video Links

As You Wish WF (Adamant x Volante by Volturno [OLD]) Kitty has competed through Open Training in eventing as well as the local Hunters with good success and HOY titles to her credit. She also foxhunts quietly (no drugs), in a snaffle. She is an Alpha type and requires a rider with tact and good timing to get her best qualities to shine through. For both Stadium and Cross Country Kitty is confident and bold, while maintaining a respectful and attentive focus on her rider’s instructions. She has a very efficient gallop and handles terrain and footing variations without any fuss. Banks, ditches, water and combinations are negotiated without problems. Ellie will now be campaigning Kitty as an event horse after a 12 year hiatus from the sport. The shift in riding focuse is mainly due to the great sense of joy that Kitty imparts to her rider out in the open - she is focused, steady and forward...simply put, she is a pleasure to gallop around a course! On the flat, Kitty has solid basics - she is light off of the leg, forward thinking with a very engaged hind leg. Her changes are easy and forward. Lateral work is confirmed through 3rd Level. At the conclusion of the 2009 season, Kitty was named Event Horse of the Year! Congratulations Kitty! And in 2010 she repeated her success! Her dam Volanté was a successful Preliminary eventer as well as a competitive Prix St. Georges mount. We also enjoyed many fine hunts on her. Kitty’s maternal granddam was a very successful Intermediate horse and her grandsire was Volturno, an Olympic medalist who passed away far too soon. Her sire Adamant has produced several Preliminary and Intermediate event horses that were successfully campaigned by Young Riders, Professionals and Adult Amateurs during their careers. Kitty had one foal by Waldaire prior to beginning her undersaddle training in 2006. Wilona WF was a First Premium at her foal inspection and is very much like her mother – businesslike and very easy to work around with above average movement.

Wallace WF (Waldaire x Aly Alice by Aly North/Bold Lad) Lacey is a beautiful dark bay mare with a sweet nature and charming outlook on life. As she is a taller mare, we have not hurried her into an intense training program which would stress her fram unnecessarily. She is currently schooling 1st level and schooling small courses. Lacey is an enthusiastic jumper and enjoys going to new locations. At her first show (DAD 2008), she won ribbons in all her classes and was a delight to handle in the midst of all the excitement of the show. She would be well suited to an ambitious amateur or professional who would like an easy horse to bring up the levels. Her gallop stride is very balanced and she is a bold and careful jumper out cross country with a strong desire to go over the obstacles that are in front of her. Banks, ditches and water obstacles are of little importance – Lacey is very much a point-and-we’re-going type of ride over fences in the arena or out in the open. During the fall of 2009 we have placed a strong emphasis on her dressage schooling and Lacey is progressing beautifully. With her leggy appearance and pretty face, she is an outstanding prospect for both breeding and sport. At her foal inspection, she received a First Premium Award and was Reserve Site Champion. Lacey’s mother Aly Alice was a solid citizen here at Watermark Farm – she was used for lessons and would pack inexperienced riders without a fuss. She competed in dressage through 2nd level, won hunter and jumper championships and schooled through some Intermediate eventing obstacles with a green rider. At the grand age of 19, Alice has returned to the competition ring with a junior rider and is still performing well. Lacey’s half siblings include Artesian WF (1996), Amelia WF (2002), and Adelaide WF (2004). Her full brother Willow LG (2007) is owned by the MacKnew Family and already enjoying success undersaddle in MD. Lacey can be sold with a breeding to a Watermark Farm stallion (not Waldaire or Wizard) or a dose of Weltmeyer or Dressage Royal semen. She is currently schooling 2nd Level and has single flying changes. Counter canter, lateral work...it is all there for the asking and we will continue to advance her training for as long as she is with us. Lacey recently participated in a top level A show hunter clinic and received rave reviews for her forward, light way of going and over fences talent.

Wakanda WF (Waldaire x Abracadabra WF by Again and Again) Wendy is our first born Waldaire foal. She is a small horse in terms of stature – just like her mother, Abracadabra – but don't be fooled! This is one fancy, big moving youngster! Her gaits are large and powerful and she loves to strut her stuff for an audience. Her name means “possessing magical powers” and if you ride her, that’s what you start to think – where is all this movement coming from? It must be MAGIC!
1 Day Wendy was the Site Champion at her Foal Inspection and garnered high praise for her powerful gaits while earning her First Premium. She is a forward thinking horse with good engagement of the hindquarters. Wendy has a strong personality but is very sweet - think Alpha type! Her flying changes are well established and she is a confident jumper.

June 2010 Wendy is a delightful horse to bring along through the levels - she a quick learner, responsive to the rider's commands and a very powerful, scopey jumper. She is truly a fine example of the Waldaire x Abracadabra WF combination. We are excited to continue to advance her training as it is simply so much fun to ride her!
April 2011
August 2011
Her full brothers Wizard WF and Whodini WF are also extremely fun horses to ride. All 3 siblings blossom with more work - they are the type of horses that try harder with a more demanding training program. In spite of her smaller stature, Wendy is a big mover and has a big jump - so she would best suit a rider who is confident on a forward thinking horse. |

Wyncote WF (Waldaire x Southern Leigh WF by South American Way xx) Pedigree Cody is a stunning individual well suited to multiple disciplines. His gaits are extremely elastic, yet powerful. He is a very intelligent youngster. His markings capture even the most casual observer as they are quite unusual! Cody has a large blaze, snip and 4 whites. He should mature to 17 hands. He would be very competitive in the A Hunters with his balanced, attractive conformation but possesses that same spark that is the current fashion in the FEI Young Horse Classes...so it is a buyer's choice as to which arena he should go into. At his foal inspection, Cody received a First Premium. His dam was injured as a weanling, so her competive career has been through her offspring. Her dam was a successful PSG dressage horse with an exemplary eventing career through Preliminary. Southern Leigh’s other offspring include Woodruff WF (2004), Westbrook WF (2005), and Westerleigh WF (2008). Cody is well started undersaddle (12/10) and ready to advance in the career of his new owners choosing. He is solidly WTC, hacking alone or with company and jumping some fences in the arena and the open country. His flying changes are clean and executed without a fuss when requested. Video Links

1 Week In the beginning of September 2010, Cody went to Sport Horse Training, Inc. to begin his undersaddle career. He was very easy to load, handle and a credit to his ancestry with his outstanding good behavior and cooperative nature. We are quite excited to see what the future holds for this talented young horse!

Wyatt WF (Weltmeyer x Savannah WF by South American Way/Abundance)
Currently off the market. Wyatt is a true to type son of the world famous Weltmeyer out of our dear Savannah. His gaits are powerful, swinging and ground covering. Like his granddam, Able Spirit, he is a delight to show in a bigger venue as he prefers to have a crowd observing him. He is currently schooling Second and Third Level. He competed at DAD in 2008 with a win in his AWR IBC and a 8th place in the 4 & 5 Year Old Stallion/Gelding Materiale (out of 32 horses). Due to the scope of his gaits, Wyatt is recommended for a rider who wants a horse for the international arenas and the talent to help him get there. His sire, Weltmeyer, is a legendary sire for the last century with his numerous licensed stallions sons, fabulous breeding daughters, and Internationally successful dressage horses. At his foal inspection, Wyatt received a Premier Award and the coveted title of Site Champion. His dam had a successful in hand career and immediately joined our broodmare herd as a four year old. Her breeding career was cut short in 2009 but she was a very consistent producer of type and movement. Her full brother Showtime WF has gone on to have a successful show record in the A Hunters in the mid-Atlantic region for his new owner. Savannah's other offspring include: Windsor WF(2006), Don William WF (2007), Dream Girl WF (2008), Dolce Elise WF (2009). Wyatt is currently schooling his flying changes & canter pirouettes. We are working towards solidifying his Prix St. Georges work. Lateral work is very straightforward and easy with this horse. Ellie forces herself on a daily basis to remember that this is not a seasoned competitor, merely a gifted young horse with talent to spare, so as to not push him too hard. During a recent school through Fourth 1, the entrance was quite honestly one of the nicest, straightest and most correct that she has ever ridden. This is a very special horse for Prix St. Georges level and beyond with the correct training and ambitious rider in the saddle.
